Polishing...

Above is the rate of fire that has been implimented via a bump map, this is a must even on small toy guns.

The scope was designed and detailed to look 'tacky' but keep enough elements to be seen as a rifle.

The gun is pretty much completed.  If any changes come to my attention I shall make them instantly.

Bump Map...

The bump map is seen above and shows how the details have been created.

Details...

Simple things were added via the bump map.  These included cheap looking grip, scuffs and branding etc as seen above.

The grip was also implimented onto the handle to help give it that certain 'toy' effect.

Also smaller areas have been given detail to help bring more credability to the model.
The mesh has been given a shiny, black plastic material.  This will now been added to via the use of a seperate bump map.  The bump will work perfectly to apply detail to the mesh as this is generally the style of the cheap toy guns that are available today.

Unwrapping...

The mesh has been fully unwrapped and is now ready to be textured.

Toying it up...

The gun has now been given a curve to give a cheap, 'injection mould' feel and a multi/sub object material has been applied.

So far...

The gun is detailed to a much highier level now, it is not time for me to start thinking of making the mesh resemble a cheap action figure rifle.

Further Detail...

Other details have been added such as seen in the picture above.  The gun is finally starting to take shape.

Shaping...

Shaping was further implimented to halp make the gun more rounded and less of a blocky mesh.

Detail...

The details have now been added into the mesh such as the barrell grip and the clip ridges.  In conjunction with this, smoothing groups have also been partially applied.

Handle...

A handle grip has been implimented and now the basic shape of the entire gun is complete.  I am now able to add more refined detail into the mesh.

Barrel Detail...

Ridges have been added onto the barrell to help add more detail and authenticity to the model.

Sight...

The sight has been implimented by extruding edges and bridging to create a tunnel effect through the sight.

Scope...

The scope shape has been made oout of a cylinder and shaped using the connect tool.  Now it must be connected to the main mesh.

The scope has been added via extrusing and welding edges from one mesh to the other.

Grip...

The handle has now also been shaped into the model.  This is very blocky at the moment but the basic shape is all that is needed at this stage.

Stock...

The stock of the rifle is now implimented and is ready to be detailed to a highier extent.  Firstly though, the rest of the rile must be blocked out.

Reciever...

The reciever has now been basically blocked in and is ready to be shaped further.
